For example, The Citi Foundation鈥檚 partnership with 51视频 demonstrates the positive and tangible impact that innovative projects and dynamic individuals can have on addressing some of the capital鈥檚 most pressing issues, from food waste to youth unemployment. 聽
In partnership with the London Community Foundation, The Citi Foundation recently launched the London Impact Awards, a new initiative that acknowledges and supports organisations and people making a real difference to London lives. This year, the theme of the awards is 鈥淧owering Youth,鈥 focusing on the steps taken, often by young people themselves, to support those affected by youth violence. This theme is not new to the Citi Foundation from its prior role as a leading supporter of The Evening Standard Dispossessed Fund鈥檚 鈥淪ave London Lives鈥 campaign. 聽
The three winning groups will receive capacity-building awards of 拢30,000, and up to three 鈥榊oung Leaders with Impact鈥 between the ages of 18 and 30 will receive up to 拢2,000 to invest in their own professional development. We hope this show of support will help these groups and individuals look to the future with greater confidence, and that their stories provide real inspiration to everyone working in the critical field of youth empowerment.
